Background
With the increase of car ownership and improvement of people’s health awareness, concerns about the quality of vehicle interior air becomes greater. According to the J.D. Power 2017 China New Car Quality Study (IQS), the common quality problems of Chinese automotive industry are mainly on the sense of smell, hearing, and vision. The most important issue that Chinese consumers complain about is still " Unpleasant odor in the cabin" (16.4 PP100), and this issue is more than double the number of complaints about excessive fuel consumption and excessive noise.
How to build a green cockpit for consumers has become a common goal of all companies in the automotive industry chain. Enforcement of the “Guidelines for Air Quality Assessment for Passenger Vehicles” (GB) has also become a hot issue for industry colleagues.
